May 2018 Tutor Training United Way Financial Stability Center at Oaklands Corp Center Exton
The United Way of Chester County/Career Link Center is hosting the spring tutor training session. As a Financial Stability Partner, VEP's mission and vision for improving the lives of many immigrant and refugee neighbors is advanced.
This is a three-session workshop to train new Volunteer English Program tutors. Participation in all nine hours of preparation is required in order to be matched with a VEP adult learner.
This volunteer experience is open to all English proficient adults, 18 years and older who wish to contribute three hours per week to tutoring a new English language learner.
The workshop details follow:
When: Tuesday, May 15th, Wednesday, May 16th and Tuesday, May 22nd 2018
Time: 9:00 a.m.to Noon
Where: United Way Financial Stability Center and CareerLink at Oaklands Corporate Center
